Backed by a highly emotive original score, the audience is taken on a mystical and atmospheric journey into the dark heart of a vintage Circus fraternity where nothing is as it seems. From the breathtaking thrill of world-class acrobats, jugglers, magicians, aerial and carnival performers to the deeply-moving musical soundscape and songs, the underlying tale of desire and betrayal plays out amidst the colour and spectacle of the classic Circus big top. Nestled somewhere between the madness of a Tim Burton psychosis and the darkness of a David Lynch nightmare, the styling is Victorian Gothic & Steampunk inspired, with stunning costumes and lighting design evoking a magical world where the line between life and death, heaven and earth, is confused and blurred.
